Understanding the passage: What was the reason this person came to find Jesus? Why do you think he came at night? What does Jesus mean when he says you have to be born again?
Applying the passage: Do we have to know everything about God to be saved? How important is it to live by the Spirit? How important is it to lay down our own ideas about God? How important is it to allow Him out of the box we may have put God into?
